Town located on the banks of Danube. Town of rich history. Roman emperor Trajan built a bridge on Danube in 2nd century in order to transfer his solders to Dakia province. Remains of that bridge can be seen even today near Kladovo.



Located in Timocka krajina region at the meeting point of Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria. Timocka krajina is known for its excellent conditions for grape growing. A famous Serbian composer Stevan Mokranjac was born in Negotin, and every year, a music festival Mokranjcevi dani takes place in this town.
